8 Mile
This is a fun loop that is actually six miles long. It's named 8 Mile due to the nearby creek with the same name.
To get to the start, leave Hood River and drive Highway 35 to Highway 44. Go East on Highway 44 until you see signs for 8 Mile Campground.
The trail has some fun uphill singletrack through a nice forest. You'll have to pay attention to signs as you go so you stay on the loop. The reward is a fun downhill singletrack at the end. None of the riding is particularly technical. It's very pleasant dirt singletrack.
