The Ridgeline off Old Dalles Road

This is a great trail run with some moderate climbing to start and then a fun ridgeline run with great views of the Gorge, Mount Hood, and Mount Adams. It's an out and back run that's about 4 miles round trip if you turn around at the big antennae.

To get there, drive South of Hood River on Highway 35. When you see an old railroad bridge, take on Whiskey Creek Road. You'll drive up Whiskey Creek for about half a mile before you run into a "T." Take a left and then take a fairly immediate right. This is Old Dalles Road. This will take you uphill for a while and the trail is 2 miles up this road on the right side as you hit a summit. Park your car and enjoy!
